Stamparatus Hinge Technique Thank You Card

by | Mar 20, 2022

Today I’m joining in with the Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop where we are looking at our favourite tool. Now, this was a tough choice as there are lots of tools I use that I could share.

I opted to use my Stamparatus and came up with these cards.

How to use the hinge technique to create a stack of stamped greetings.

The Stamparatus is the best stamping platform on the market. It makes stamping easy and is especially great for anyone that has mobility issues with their hands and struggles to

STAMPARATUS FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • Make multiples with ease
  • Consistently stamp crisp, clean images
  • If you want a darker impression, apply more ink and restamp—no need to start over
  • Make fewer mistakes, saving time and money
  • Easily create 2-step, 3-step, and 4-step stamped images using reversible plates.

It also allows you to create cards like these using the Hinge technique.

Hinge technique with the Stamparatus.

The hinge technique

Here is how you do the hinge technique to create this card :

  • Position the Thanks stamp from Ornate thanks to stamp at the top of a piece of Basic White measuring 14.9 x 8cm.
  • Stamp in Soft Succulent ink, then move the plate down by 1 hinge, and stamp again. Repeat 4 times.
  • Then clean the stamp with your Simple Shammy and position the stamp into the gap between the stamped images.
  • Stamp in an alternative colour and repeat the Hinge technique.

I finished the card with some coordinating Designer Series Paper and jewels and added a touch of elegance with the scallop border die from Painted Labels – I die-cut 3 and then lined them up alongside the stamped piece.

So that’s my hinge technique card to showcase my favourite tool – I wonder what other tools the rest of the Stamptastic Friends have picked – please do head over and check them out:
