Birthday cards are one of the must needed cards, so I definitely wanted to join in with the Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop.
I decided to create a Floral Birthday card as I was itching to use the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper.
The beauty of these papers is that for some of the designs, you can use the coordinating Blossoming Happiness to die cut the flowers and leaves, just like I did here!
Then it was a simple case of flower arranging!
Finished the card with a greeting stamp from the suite’s stamp set Happiness Abounds.
How to create a slimline size cardbase
The card base was created as a slimline card. You can do this by putting a piece of A4 card with the long side and cutting at 19.2 and scoring at 9.6cm. This was done in Highland Heather cardstock.
The Basic White layer on top was 8.5 x 20cm and I used a lovely die to create a spiral bound notebook look to the card. How fun is that!
Decorate your Floral Birthday Card
I finished the card with decorating the inside with a coordinating flower and a sentiment from the Happiness Abounds stamp set.
