So after all that talk of weddings in previous posts I suppose I better share the results of all the crafting hours that has happened here at the Casa de Craft. The colour of the wedding party was Navy so Stampin’ Up’s Night of Navy was a good choice. The theme of the wedding was music and we incorporated it in various ways.
The decoration of the tables was kept simple. A mirror plate holding a cute tealight holder was the main centrepiece, which had been prettied up with some Night of Navy stitched ribbon and a mdf music note cut by my friends at All Things Nice which we sponged up with Night of Navy ink and hung onto the tealight with some Bakers Twine.
Each table had 5 paper flowers which were created by inking up cardstock with the Music Notes wheel, punching out several layers per flower with the Blossom punch and then scrunching and daubing with more ink. I think they were well appreciated as many guests seem to have taken them home as a little memento!
The top table was decorated with bunting for its place name. The Perfect Pennants die was just ….well perfect … for the job. The letters were die cut with the Typeset Alphabet dies and the bunting was strung together with the coordinating Night of Navy stitched grosgrain ribbon.
The sweet table had the same treatment too before it was filled with all manner of sugar filled goodies!!
So that’s some of the makes for my sisters special day. I’ll be back soon with details of how I incorporated Stampin’ Up’s new editing software My Digital Studio to create some of the decor.
