Hello, just a quick post today as have lots to do! After my first go with My Digital Studio (MDS) for my sister’s wedding, I couldn’t wait to get creative again. When MDS was made available to us I wasn’t sure a piece of software would appeal to me as a lover of stamping and getting messy with inks and glue, but I love the flexibility of digitally crafting as I can do it anywhere, anytime, without a stash load of supplies. Just me and my laptop and I am away!

So for my first 12×12 scrapbook page I decided to use on the preloaded Designer templates. These are great for a quick project or for newbies like me, trying out the software and having a look at what can be created.

I picked the Vintage Overlays designer template and created this page.

All I did was change the colours of some of the text and embellishments to tie in with my wedding colours. It’s great to finally scrapbook some photo’s which I have been wanting to do for a long time. I’ll be back soon with another page I am in the middle of making and that is one that I have intended to do for the last 2 and half years …. can you guess who the subject matter is?
