Well it’s gone a bit nippy here, has it with you? It feels like we are well and truly heading into autumn and together with my upcoming Team Training day this weekend which will be a Christmas feast, my focus has definitely gone festive!

Today I have a project using one of the Simply Created Card kits, which I named as one of my Top 10 favourite items, from the Autumn Winter Seasonal catalogue. I love these kits, because they are great for new crafters who haven’t got lots of tools for cutting and scoring etc ( and I love new crafters!!), but they are also great for seasoned crafters with little time to create and I certainly know how those feel too!

The Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card kit comes with all the elements you need to make 8 luxury cards with everything precut ready for you to assemble. It includes cardstock, envelopes and liners, and embellishments of paper, buttons and bakers twine. Here is my one of my cards.

Don’t they look just great with the matching envelop liners! In this one I used the Wishing You stamp set all coloured up and stamped with my markers. Here’s another version, which I stepped up a little by embossing the card base with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.

The greeting for this card was from the Christmas Messages stamp set and inked up in coordinating Coastal Cabana … sorry if it looks a little more Pool Party in the pic, but just getting used to settings on my new camera!

Here they are both together. They literally took 5 minutes to make as everything is precut and ready to assemble. I think these kits make great gifts as well for your crafty friends out there.
