Sneak Peek at Cards for Men Class

by | Apr 29, 2012

What a wet and windy day it is today isn’t it? Perfect day for staying in and crafting. I’ve managed to squeeze a bit of time this morning for a last play with the retiring Cupcake Builder punch. This time instead of creating something sweet like cakes or ice-cream I’ve opted for something a bit more manly.

So I used the punch to create some fluffy clouds in the sky … it’s just so versatile!

You might be thinking you’ve not seen those cute air balloons before and you’d be right …. this is a sneak peek from the new Summer Mini catalogue launching next week. There are so many lovely stamp sets in the new mini I can’t wait to share them …. 2 days and counting!!

I used the Square Lattice Embossing folder to add texture and interest the scene. It’s a technique called inlaid embossing and is so easy and so effective.

If you’d like to learn this technique and come and make a collection of cards for men then come along to my next monthly class. Cards for men are so challenging to make so I’ll be sharing lots of different ideas for all those men in our life, and it’s perfect timing for Father’s Day cards
