Villa Butterflies

by | Mar 8, 2012

Afternoon all,

After 3 days of my “proper job” it’s nice to now have 5 lovely days at home with my baby girl. There’s plenty of time to do the necesssary evils like ironing and cleaning, time to visit family and friends and even a little bit of time to craft! I need to make the most of it because after this week, life gets crazy busy!
I wanted to have a play with my Flight of the butterfly set as it’s not only the first ever set I bought, but also one of my favourites and also the focus of my April papercraft class.
I needed to make some simple thank you cards that I could reproduce quickly, (we have a lot of thank you’s to send for all of Grace’s lovely Birthday presents!).
I created an acetate window with the 1 3/4 circle punch for a two step stamped butterfly to hover over. Finished off with one of the fab sentiments in the set and a few daisies. The colour combination was a complete accident – Marina Mist and Rich Razzleberry – didn’t even notice it was hubby’s football team colours till I showed him the cards! Maybe my next creation will be red and white to compensate.

Thanks for popping by and if you’re after a bargain, check out my newly listed product shares on my Current Offers page. Already some places taken!

Hasta la próxima / until next time
