Ooops a daisy …. I started to write this post at the weekend, but then lots of fun filled birthday celebrations took over as we spent some lovely time catching up with family to celebrate Little Miss Chief’s 3rd birthday. I’ll be back with the card I made for her tomorrow but today I have some more cards I made with the Petal Parade stamp set. This time I used just one image from the set to create a frame for my sentiment for some simple Thank You cards.

I stamped the petal image in versamark before embossing with Wild Wasabi embossing powder and then added a sentiment from Lots of Thanks 

The great thing with Stampin’ Up is that we have lots of colours of embossing powders that match our colour families of card and ink so I was able to create the card in 3 different colours – Wild Wasabi, Melon Mambo and Pool Party.

You can see here how the embossing powders match well to the card and ink and you got to love a bit of hot pink on these cold wintery days!  I used my markers to ink up the sentiment as I didn’t want the whole stamped image.

So these cards will soon be winging their way to my lovely customers who purchased with me recently even though I have been a bit AWOL. It really is their loyalty and support that has kept me going over the last couple of months … so thank you ladies.
