After my video yesterday I had a few messages about the sample I showed you with the gorgeous butterfly image, so I thought I’d share the project with you in full. As I said on the video this certainly got a few “oohs” and “aahhs” at Convention when I showed it to my fellow demonstrators.

The rainbow embossing technique works so well with large images like this gorgeous stamp Swallowtail (wood/clear).

So in following the technique I demonstrated on the video I stamped in VersaMark ink and then heat embossed a trio of Stampin’ Emboss powders – White, Silver and Gold.  The sentiment comes from the Sweet Essentials Stamp Set (wood/clear) and has been embossed in silver too.

With such an effective image I kept the embellishment simple with a simple bow of the gorgeous Silver 1/8″ Ribbon which is in the seasonal catalogue. Finally the inside got a little stamping treatment too with a silver embossed image from the matching Papillion Potpurri Stamp Set (wood/clear).
