It’s a big week here at the Casa de Craft as Little Miss Chief starts pre-school today for her 2 afternoon’s a week for the summer term. She was really excited about going and despite leaving her in tears at the gate, I am hoping I’ll be picking up a smiling little lady shortly.
Anyway, onto today’s card which is another one my ladies made at class. The trellis fence went down a storm as my ladies love finding a new way to use a product. See more information below.
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- Stamping the Hardwood stamp in Pool Party ink onto Pool Party card creates a real spring like feel to such a masculine stamp.
- The trellis was simply created by taking two strips of stamped cardstock and using the Chevron Border punch before weaving the two pieces together.
- Cute Pink Pirouette Beautiful Wings embosslits flutter onto the garden fence.
- The sentiment is kept simple with one word from the Fabulous Phrases stamp set.
- Add a bit of bling with some Gold Embossed Petite Petals mixed in with some delicate ones in So Saffron and Pink Pirouette to create the perfect bloom. Finished off with some Little Leaves using the sizzlit die. Perfect products for creating your own bunch of flowers!
If you have any questions about the techniques or products used in this card, please feel free to contact me. I love to hear from fellow crafters!
Hasta luego / see you later

What an AWESOME card – one of the best I have seen in a long time! I love the inventiveness of my fellow crafters! Who came up with this one? Well done that lady! This is why I am joining Stampin’ Up!
Louise – Little Miss Chief will have been skipping around like a little Spring lamb before you were back in your car no doubt! Who cries the most – daughter/sons on their first solo-flight or Mums as soon as they have dropped their little chick/s at Nursery School? I blabbed all the way home AND spent way too much at the supermarket on my first solo trip in 4 years. I kept my son ‘at home’ with me for an extra year – taking full advantage of, for us both, his date of birth! Was this really 14 years ago – wow! :O
I got to get me one of those Hardwood stamps and the Chevron Border punches which have just shot to no.1 and no. 2 position on my wish list!
Thanks Christine, glad you like my design. I saw the lattice effect and thought it would make a perfect Hardwood trellis fence and I was right thankfully.
As for little miss, she was fine as expected and had a fab time.
