I booked today as a last minute day off from the day job, as had Little Miss Chief at home, had a doctors appointment and wanted to get some cleaning and errands done. I did manages to tick quite a few of the list, but are you like me and always have a list so long it’s not possible to complete in one day?? Spose that’s erring on the optimistic side hey?

Well one of my tasks was to share another make with you, so although this is much later on in the day than intended, I am here with another card from the Spring garden class. This was an alternative card for the ladies to make if they had stamped enough with the Hardwood stamp.

STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS

• A banner with the Burlap Ribbon takes centre stage here and adds texture and a masculine balance to an otherwise feminine card.
• The card is given depth with a trio of  border images stamped from Perfect Pennants.

• Petite Petals flowers in Pool Party and Crumb Cake decorate the banner and are grounded with some die cut Little Leaves.
• Punched out chevron pieces add a final geometric embellishment to the card – these were left over pieces from making the trellis fence on this card here.

• A simple sentiment is added from Fabulous Phrases – well this card made me happy anyway!

I’m looking forward to being the attendee of a class tomorrow rather than the provider, so will update on my adventures soon.
