Finally I hear you cry …. the Stampin Senorita is back with something crafty! Yep, back today with a card that my lovely ladies and gent will be making on Saturday’s Bright & Beautiful Card class.
One of the stamp sets we are using in class is Simply Stars …. perfect for all those masculine cards we need, and particularly great for one of my hardest categories to stamp for …. teenage boys! I love the fact I have a teenage boy that comes to class each month and it’s great to see him get creative – he’s really rather good! Go Matt!
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- The Graffiti Wall is created by scoring with the Simply Scored to create a brick wall. So simple to do, but really effective.
- Stamping with Simply Stars at random in a colour trio of Pacific Point, Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise.
- It adds to the effect if there is less ink on the stamp and the scoring shows through the stamped image!
- One star was stamped on scrap Whisper White and snipped out with my trusty Paper Snips before being popped up on a Dimensional.
- Strong sentiment added from You’re Amazing stamp set.
- Finally a couple of DSP banners in coordinating colours and die cut with the Hearts a Flutter framelits add a little finish. Stapled on for maximum masculinity!
I really like the use of the Scoreboard to create this effect and want to see what other colour combinations it works well with. I hope my class attendee’s like it too.
I was wondering if you wanted a video tutorial on how to create this effect … leave me a comment to let me know.
Hasta luego / see you later
Louise
