Evening all! I definitely had that Monday morning feeling today … even though it’s Tuesday! I had a busy but productive weekend, Saturday was 2 back-to-back classes which was great as had many who chose to come for the whole day and some pick just the morning or afternoon sessions. One of my lovely ladies, Gaye, came laden with homemade cake – chocolate and coffee and walnut … that were sooo delicious! She wanted to bring them in case she can’t make June’s class, which will be my last one before baby boy arrives.
Sunday I faced the dreaded IKEA on a bank holiday weekend – arrived early to beat (most of) the crowds. Came away having decided on which new bed for Little Miss Chief, spied some office furniture and bought some new drawers for my bedroom …. we are trying to rearrange bedrooms and office space to make room for the new arrival!
Yesterday was a full on day tackling the bombsite that was our garage. Ours is that place, you know, where you chuck things in, thinking I might need that at some point! So it was time to get ruthless and clear out and organise. You can actually see floor space now! 😉
So no time for crafting after all that, but I do have a card to share, which is one some of my ladies opted to make on Saturday’s class.
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- A monochrome card in Real Red is perfect for anything lovey-dovey – think weddings or anniversaries.
- I stamped and die cut a range of hearts and banners using the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and matching framelits in a mix of Real Red ink on Whisper White, Illuminate ink on Real Red cardstock and Whisper White and some embossed Real red card.
- The banner items are positiioned on the card under a strip of Real Red 1/4″ Grosgrain Stitched ribbon.
- The bottom of the card has texture added with the Adorning Accents embossing folder – a sweet addition to match the Hearts a Flutter elements.
- A sentiment from Sweet Essentials to finish and a few rhinestones for added bling!
I’ll be back tomorrow with a peak at what is in store for my final class before my maternity break.
Hasta luego / see you later
Louise
