Many of us will proclaim there are never enough hours in the day, it certainly feels that way here at the moment! I have lots of my friends who often ask how do I find time for crafting, so with that in mind I thought I would introduce Five Minute Friday and share a project that takes five minutes or less to make.
Here’s my first offering.
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- The focal point of this card is one of the cards from the Project Life Everyday Adventure collection, proving that Project Life is not just for scrapbooking. I chose this particular card as I loved the look of the cut out letters and by layering it onto Basic Black cardstock, really makes them pop! A few additional seconds to layer it onto Bermuda Bay cardstock and the main image was prepared.
- I added a second layer by cutting a similar sized rectangle in Pumpkin Pie cardstock and embossing with te Arrows embossing folder.
- The card is finished off with a simple handcut banner to add the sentiment, which was created with a blend of the Day to Day stamp set and the Happy is from Remembering Your Birthday.
This super quick and simple card was designed for a lovely young man who turned 18 this week, and I think the Project Life phrase is just about right for him as he heads off to university in September.
Hasta luego / see you later
