Hello, sorry for the lack of posts this week – I’ve had one of those weeks! It’s been filled with doctor’s appointments, punctures, shopping disasters and more. But I’m glad to be back here and have a great one to come back with as today is the Stampin’ Stars Autumn Winter Seasonal Blog Hop, where members of the larger family of demo’s that I am part of are all sharing projects and ideas with products from the new Seasonal catalogue.  So you might have arrived here from the head honcho of our fab team – the lovely Natalie O’Shea and if so … hello! If not, then don’t worry just click on the buttons at the bottom of the post and you can get on your blog hop journey.
I have a couple of cards to share that showcases one of my favourite sets in the catalogue – Wondrous Wreath.
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- The Wondrous Wreath Stamp set is a fantastic photopolymer set which allows for you to simply triple stamp the images to create this layered wreath in a trio of colours. Here I used Pistachio Pudding, Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler.
- It also comes with matching Wonderful Wreath framelits which make cutting it out a real simple task, and with a 15% saving on buying both teogther as a bundle, you’d be daft not to.
- I love hanging a wreath on our door at Christmas time, so it seemed only fitting to recreate a door with the Hardwood Stamp Set. I stamped the image twice on Sahara Sand cardstock and cut one of the layers with my Stampin’ Trimmer to create the panels of the door.
- The Good Greetings stamp set (free with orders over £200) is used for the sentiment on a cute little banner.
Once I started stamping out the wreath, I thought about my own Christmas home decor and I love to have a garland across the mantelpiece so I set to work to create this second card:
- The garland is simply created by stamping the image twice and then snipping one in half and positioning it accordingly. I love the bows which are in Real Red again and are cut out with one of the framelits.
- The mantel piece was created by scoring the brick pattern with my Simply Scored – so simple and effective. A wooden top was added with the Hardwood stamp.
- Finished the card off with one of the two word thinlets that come in the framelits collection – Joy and Noel. Perfect for lots of your festive makes.
So hope you like my first festive share of the season, I will be sharing step-by-step photo tutorials on how to make this card with my Stampin’ Delight Darlings over on our exclusive Facebook page.
