There is not long left of Sale-a-bration and I think one of my favorite free products has been the embossed papers Irresistibly Yours – they create such great backgrounds with little effort. I have already showed a couple of ideas here and here, but today return with possibly my favourite style with this subtle ombre look.

STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS

• On a cardbase in Pistachio Pudding I added a layer of the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series papers which had been sponged in the coordinating ink. To create the ombre look I began by lightly sponging at one end and then gradually added more layers of ink to create a darker tone as I worked my way down the piece of DSP. 

• With such a beautiful background I kept the embellishment simple … simple but elegant with this gorgeous Butterfly Thinlet.

• The colour added is the gorgeous Blackberry Bliss for a rich and deep contrast to the Pistachio Pudding. Both of these are classed as In Colours – I’ll be doing a little explanation on these next week.

• A simple thanks needed to be added as these were to be winging their way to my Craft Stash Club ladies along with a selection of the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series papers as their monthly gift. Here I added a twist of the lovely thick Bakers Twine in Pistachio Pudding and stamped one of the lovely little Ticket images from That’s the Ticket, simply punched out with the Ticket Duo Punch too.
