When time is short it might be easy to think you don’t have time to create a handmade card. Well, Stampin’ Up! has that covered for with some great products that make creating fantastic looking cards super quick and simple. Time here at the Casa de Craft has been on short supply (kids holidays, DIY projects, day job etc) , but I simply can’t send out any orders without a thank you card,  so here’s one I made I this month, to show you a quick handmade card idea.

STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS

• Using a large background stamp like the Something Lacy creates a wow with minimal stamping! Here it is stamped in crumb Cake ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock.

• The Thank You stamp from Hey You makes a perfect addition – adds a focal point whilst saying that all important sentiment. Here it is stamped with the Gold Metallic for a spot of instant shimmer too. The layering of the sentiment is made quick and easy with the Large Oval and Decorative Label punches which coordinate beautifully.

• Adding the luxurious silk ribbon with a simple tie takes no time at all either and adds elegance and texture to the card in an instant.

So hope you like my simple but elegant and super quick thank you cards. This design would be perfect for a engagement/wedding/anniversary card too and the Hey You stamp set includes a lovely “Congrats” stamp. In fact each of my Craft Stash Club ladies received this card, together with a kit to make another as a gift from me,  and I gave them the Thank You and Congrats sentiments as an option. 

I’ve got loads of cards and projects to photograph and share so hopefully will be back soon …. as soon as i find where I put the camera battery! Oops!
