Hello! Hola! Buenos Dias!
Sorry it’s been a while since I last posted; it got a little busy here and I’ve been away a bit this month with 2 trips to Spain. In fact, the first trip to Spain was a family holiday. We went for 6 days to Southern Spain as a family of four, and stayed with my parents who were there on a 2 week holiday – it was great to get away and take the kids abroad.
George did really well on the flight over and Grace was super excited as although she has flown before when we took her away when she was only 18 months old, and she can’t remember it so it was a whole new experience for her.
As this was a short trip away, we aimed for a lovely few relaxing days and spent a fair bit of time by the pool. George loved being in the water, till he got ill and we had to keep him out of the pool. Grace loved being by the pool too and loved the tradition of the afternoon ice-cream – she even bought us all one with money given to her from our fab childminders.
One of the days we were away we took the car up to Mijas, a traditional mountain village which wasn’t far away. It’s great to see a bit of “proper” Spain! Mijas is famed in the area for it’s donkey rides and here Grace jumped up on the statue for a perfect picture!
It was great to go away as a family to Spain – I love practicing my Spanish, devouring the yummy food and enjoying the relaxed way of life over there. It was a great way to introduce Grace to the Spanish language too … it now makes sense to her why there are different words for things and I’m hoping we can continue to teach her some lingo at home.
This trip would not have been possible without my Stampin’ Up! business – so thank you to all my team of Stampin’ Senoritas and to my lovely customers who shop with me or come to my events. It was lovely to take my family away and treat them for all their support for the various times I’m off doing classes or workshops.
Hasta luego / see you later
Louise
