As we hurtle towards the big day I thought I’d pop back with some simple Christmas card designs, just in case you’re like me and struggling for time. So here’s today’s make with one of my favourite items from the Autumn Winter catalogue, the Woodland Embossing Folder.
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- The embossed trees are given a frosty feel by sponge daubing Whisper White Craft ink onto the raised parts.
- A snow scene is created with some scraps of torn Whisper White cardstock at the bottom of the embossed layer. Simple and effective!
- The card is finished off with a die cut Christmas Greeting thinlet and matched up with a greeting from the coordinating stamp set Holly Jolly Greetings – buy these 2 items together and save 15%. Top tip for you … these thinlets dies work brilliantly with the Precision Base Plate which makes it easy to extract the delicate die cut from the thinlet.
Here’s a collection of them … super easy to make and very effective. The Woodland Embossing Folder is on the retiring list so is only available whilst stocks last … don’t miss out!
Hasta luego / see you later
