So this past weekend I went to a Stampin’ Up event for demo’s and got to spend lots of time with some of my team. I love my team of Stampin’ Senoritas – some have joined for the starter kit offer, some want discount on their stash on an ongoing basis and some want to build their own business. But we all have one thing in common – we love crafting and the Stampin’ Up! product range!
I’ll share some pics of the event when I get them downloaded but for now I have the gifts I sent I to my recent new members who joined up. I always send a decorated notebook which is personalised in some way for them to jot down their wish lists, project ideas or business tips. Plus a little card to welcome them to the team …. so come and see the last little collection I sent out.
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- I used the In-Colour Collection from 2014-2016 which will be retiring with the launch of the new catalogue in June (don’t worry there are 5 brand new colours heading our way) but for those of you who want to continue using these colours I suggest stock up now as they are normally the first items to sell out!
- The three main colours on the trio of gifts are Mossy Meadow, Tangelo Twist and Lost Lagoon with a hint of Hello Honey. I didn’t include Blackberry Bliss but it would work really well, as this set of colours all complement each other.
- The background features Designer Series Paper from the Typeset Speciality collection – this is great value at just £1.75 for 24 sheets of 12×12″
- The leaves were stamped from Botanical Blooms which comes in Photopolymer for easy placement. It has many two step stamping images like the leaf outline and the veins, allowing you to create lots of different variations.
- I also used the Alphabet Rotary stamp to create the name tags and the Welcome sentiment – love having this tool in my craft room for those moments when you need to stamp something specific.
- The notebooks feature a banner decorated with some Botanical blooms and a strip of the Hello Honey Striped cotton ribbon which has a lovely feel and is just right to finish off the notebooks.
So if you like the sound of joining my team – for discounts on your Stampin’ Up! goodies, or to pay for your hobby or build a business then feel free to email me for more information.
And for all you colour coordinating crafters out there … this really is an advance warning to stock up on the 2014-2016 In-colours before they are gone.
Tip: If you have the ink pads then grab the refills so you can keep them going for longer.
Or grab some extra cardstock so you can keep creating with these rich and bold colours for longer.
So which colour are you going to miss most … would love to hear if you’d like to leave me a comment?
Hasta luego / see you later
Louise
