It’s the start of the summer holidays here, and I wanted to join in with the Stampin’ Creative blog hop and share a Summer Dreams inspired card.
This summery card has a slightly 60’s, 70’s flower power look to it. I used the In Bloom stamp set and coordinating Pierced Blooms dies.
The stamp set features matching petals and leaves and also 4 fabulous sentiments, and I love the stitched detailing on the dies. There are a fabulous collection of layering petals and leaves and also this perfectly sized label die.
For this card I randomly stamped the flowers in a combination of Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia and, using the ‘stamping off’ technique to get a variety of colours and shades.
Then added some matching die cuts and my sentiment and a touch of coordinating ribbon to finish it off.
