Sycamore Street Handbag

by | Feb 8, 2013

Wow, where did that week go? It’s been a busy one here with work, a lovely evening with a crafty group of ladies and trips to that Swedish furniture place! A couple of weeks ago, it was the birthday of one of my senoritas, Liz, and sadly her crafty birthday get together was snowed off. So when I saw her last weekend at some Stampin’ Up! training we attended I made sure to give her the belated birthday gift I made for her.
I made a handbag based on one I found online, though I did make a few tweaks of my own. It is one sheet of 12×12 for the bag, which was scored with the Simply Scored, so that it folds up neatly into to the bag, and then sealed with a Top Note topper.
The clasp of the handbag is a Scallop circle, topped with some gorgeous glimmer card and the stamp from Madison Avenue which holds the bag together with a velcro dot.

Although it is hard to tell with my gloomy photos (sorry it was late when I was snapping these!!) the bag is made in the gorgeous Rich Razzleberry cardstock to match this fab and funky Designer paper which is part of the Sycamore Street papers. Don’t forget they are part of the Sale-a-bration selection of products to choose for free with every £45 spent. Hostesses are also able to get that glimmer card free with a party order!!
