Stampin’ Up’s Mini Pizza Boxes are part of a fabulous range of gift packaging products and today I am sharing a project I created by decorating one of these to create a Box of cards gift set.
3×3 Mini Cards
One of the perfect items you can create is a set of 3×3 Mini Cards which fit perfectly inside the boxes. Here I used items from the Quilted Christmas suite to create a fun set of 5 cards, including the gorgeous Quilted Christmas 6×6 Designer Paper Stack and the coordinating Christmas Quilt Bundle.
It is so much fun to come up with designs for this size card – no room for faff or over embellishment. Perfect when you need to create a few quickly. Whilst it may not be the usual size of card you would make, I think the Mini Cards are perfect for Christmas when making a large quantity is required. Plus, each year I seem to receive more and more store bought cards this size.
Bright and Zingy Colour Combination
I kept to the colour combination from the papers and really like the fresh look of adding Lemon Lime Twist to a more traditional combination of Real Red and Garden Green. What do you think?
The great benefit of using the colours found in the Designer Series Paper is that Stampin’ Up! do a cardstock pack with a mix of 3 colours to coordinate – so saves you having to buy a pack in each colour. Great idea isn’t it!
As you would expect from Stampin’ Up! with their awesome skills of coordination, there are also matching envelopes available – grab them in a pack of 40 for just £8.25. I created a matching flap with one the coordinating paper designs from the 6×6 stack – simple but effective.
Do you like this as a set? It was great fun to make and I will definitely be making some more.
