CASE a Stampin’ Up! Superstar
Good morning, today it is the return of the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop and this month we have a very special guest from across the pond, the very lovely Lyssa Griffin Zwolanek from Song of my Heart Stampers and our mission was to CASE one of Lyssa’s projects.
I do love a spot of CASE-ing and if you’re unsure what that means, with Stampin’ Up! it is where we Copy and Share everything to hopefully inspire you. I think it is a fantastic thing, as after all I become a demonstrator so I could share my passion for papercraft.
So if you’ve just arrived here from Gina at Emerald Kreations then welcome, come in and see what I have created as my CASE project.
CASE Lyssa Griffin Zwolanek
The project I selected to CASE from Lyssa’s blog was this one from last year.
I love the simple design with a wow factor created by the embossed background. When casing a project you can take inspiration from the images, layout or colour scheme. I chose to case the fab layout of the card and came up with this.
For my version I used the Merry Little Labels bundle as my focal image. The stamp was heat embossed in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Old Olive card – it works well on all colours used in this way.
I used the coordinating papers from this mega suite for the horizontal banner, together with some Old Olive Mini Chevron ribbon. Love the fresh festive combination of Old Olive, Basic Black and Whisper White. What about you?
The Winter Wonder Embossing Folder is such a great addition to any craft room – one large snowflake to create a fabulous backdrop to any design. I love it and can’t wait to create with it some more.
I finished the design with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to add a bit of festive bling! I hope Lyssa likes my CASE of her design and I’m super excited she is hopping along with us. Be sure to hop and check out everyone on the hop, there’s bound to be lots of fabulous designs. Next up is a dear friend who has returned to the crew, Kim Fee of Simply Fairies. One of the original members of the Stampin’ Creative crew and I’m so glad to welcome her back.
Happy Crafting and hasta luego
Louise xx

Great card, Louise! Must case that layout for myself, it’s such a good one!
It is a great layout and all you need is a good collection of them and you can craft for days, non-stop!
I really love your card and Lyssa’s original. I think you have just inspired the Christmas card I will make this year! Thank you.
Thanks for popping by Sherylee. Glad to be of inspirational assistance 😉
