Hello! On this autumn morning I am back here to share some creative inspiration as part of the Stampin’ Creative blog hop team and with our Colourful Christmas theme … a project in non-traditional festive colours. Plus, super excited this month as we are joined by the very lovely Carrie from The Inky Nook and Renee from across the pond at Water City Stamping.
My non festive colours were soon picked once I spotted the papers. I couldn’t wait to use the gorgeous Gold Bauble papers from the All Is Bright Designer Series Papers. These 12×12″ papers feature photographic images on one side and different patterns on the other. I teamed up the gold with Blackberry Bliss for a regal twist on Christmas. What do you think?
I created a cute holder and a set of 4 cards in my non-festive colours with just 1 sheet of 12×12, and it was so easy to do. The holder is simply created with a couple of score lines and 2 pockets to hold the cards and envelopes, so it opens like a wallet.
The cards all feature simple layouts to show off the papers and I used the Merry Christmas To All stamp set and it’s coordinating dies to add some festive sentiments. Adding to the regal colourful christmas combination I embellished with some of the Gold Metallic Edge ribbon.
So I hope you like this project. I have made a couple of these already – perfect to create and give to friends who don’t make cards. Perfect for christmas craft fairs too. So now it’s time to see what the rest of the Stampin’ Creative crew have to share with you. Enjoy hopping round!
Happy Crafting and hasta luego,
