Butterflies are fluttering and summer must surely be round the corner! Today’s post is sharing a card I made a while ago, but never got round to sharing, and I’m hoping it’s bright and bold summer colours will inspire the weather to follow suit!

The card features one of my favourite colour combinations – Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight. I used the Gingham Gala Designer Series Papers which come in a range of light and fresh colours – these are retiring this month, so be sure to stock up soon.

I created a tag using one of my trusty punches – the Scalloped Tag Topper. I added a second layer in Night of Navy to make it pop!

The background panel of the card was given texture with one of the three stamps in the Beauty Abounds stamp set which can create accents. I love the variety in this stamp set from lovely sentiments in a script font, to stunning butterfly imagery and background “splodges”!

The last couple of additions to the card included combining hte tags together with the very useful Polka Dot Tulle ribbon and a few of the coordinating Gingham Gala Sequins to finish.
