Apothecary Christmas Door Wreath

by | Aug 29, 2012

This is my last share of projects from my Christmas in August class and again features the Apothecary Art stamp set. This card was completely cased from one here by the lovely Monica.
Apothecary Art Christmas Door Wreath
For mine I used Crumb Cake cardstock as the base and then after scoring with the Simply Scored dragged the Crumb Cake ink across it to create that “lived in” door look.
The wreath was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink before being coloured in with the markers in Real Red and Garden Green and painstakingly lovingly snipped out with the sharp Paper Snips and finally a banner was added with a greeting from the Curly Cute stamp set to finish it off.
All the ladies who came to class loved how simple this was to create, but how effective. If you would like to come the next class is on 6th October in Rugeley, Staffordshire, where there will be more festive makes.
Hasta la próxima / until next time
