Best of Flowers Technique Class – Z Card

The Best of flowers set, which was launched in June, has been very popular with my lovely customers so I thought with the arrival of summer, and the gardens blooming with lots of flowers, I would use it for this month’s Technique Class.

Today’s card shows off the rose stamps from the set, which I have to say might be my least favourite of the 4 stamps in the set, but I still love the simple beauty of it on this card.

This card is a Z fold card using the Ovals framelits as the front of the card. I’ve just purchased these framelits and can see I am going to be using them a lot! I layered several of them up in a combination of Strawberry Slush and Crumb Cake and embossed one layer with my old favourite the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

The kit for this month’s Technique class included 3m of the gorgeous Seam Binding ribbon in Crumb Cake and also a whole pot of these Antique Brads amongst other products. I am so glad these Antique Brads made it into the new catalogue as I do love them for a touch of vintage!
