Colouring in is a favourite pastime in this household. If it’s not the 6 year old grabbing her pens and paper to get creative it’s my 2 year old son wanting to make a mess with some crayons. You’d think I might have had enough of colouring in with all of that but it’s something I find quite therapeutic. I’m guessing there’s lots of us adults that feel the same with the abundance of Colouring Books in the shops these days. Here’s how I get my Colouring In fix Stampin’ Up Style
COLOURING IN TO CREATE A CARD STAMPIN’ UP! STYLE
-
The Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper provides 4 different designs (3 of each) which are just waiting for you to add your colour to. What’s more … it’s FREE with a qualifying order!
-
All the papers have a floral theme. They are a good thickness of Designer Series paper – almost cardstock thickness – so stand up to having colour added in different ways. Here the Aquapainters are used to colour the the designs.
-
The Aquapainters are fab way of making more of your Stampin’ Up! Ink Pads. Create an ink pallet in your lid and away you go. The dragonfly was given a bit colour with the Gold Wink of Stella.
-
To coordinate with the Inside the Line papers I added some background stamping with the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set. This stamp set includes a lovely collection of sentiments which I also used here too.
Hope you like this card and if you fancy a spot of Colouring In for your projects then don’t forget you only have till 31st March to get your hands on this gorgeous collection of Designer Series Papers before they are gone (whilst stocks last!)
Hasta luego / see you later
