It’s been a couple of weeks since I got back from Brussels for the the first Stampin’ Up! Onstage Live event and if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you would have seen a few pics already from my time there.
This 6 monthly event is exclusive for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators – we get to meet up, share ideas and see the new product coming in the next catalogue. It’s an awesome way to spend 3 days!
This time the event had been given a make-over and was even more amazing than previous Stampin’ Up! conventions, so I can’t wait to share a bit with you today.
Sara Douglass, Shelli’s daughter and Interim CEO, hosted the event along with a fab team from the Stampin’ Up! home office and inspired us with both business training and creative shares.
A new feature of the event was the Product Spotlight area – I was lucky enough to see this before it was revealed to the rest of the 600 demo’s in attendance, so have a few pics to share in all it’s glory (I’ll fill you on why in a minute!)
There were 4 product spotlight areas, each for a different product suite and each one had a chill out zone, a class room and a product test area. This was designed so it felt like we were walking through the new catalogue and was a fantastic way to get to know the new products.
Here’s one of the product suites – a new collection of products called Botanical Blooms. And also the reason I got to see it all first – I was asked to present! I really enjoyed presenting and got some great feedback from my fellow demo’s so that was fantastic.
On the Thursday evening, all those demo’s who are Silver Elite and above are invited to attend a special evening event called Centre Stage. This was hosted on board a party boat where we sailed down the river, whilst dining on canapes and nibbles. It’s a great opportunity to mix and mingle with our fellow demo’s – here I am with the lovely Pip and also teamies from the Stampin’ Stars with our very thoughtful gift from our team leader.
Being part of these events is one of the perks of achieving Silver Elite, something I could never have done without my fab team of Stampin’ Senoritas and also my very loyal and supportive customers. I was honoured to walk the stage during Onstage twice for awards in Sales and Recruiting – so thank you to each and every one of you.
Attending Onstage was also the perfect opportunity to see a bit of Brussels – with Waffles, Moules, Chocolate, it’s a good job it was only a weekend! Here is me and Eimear, my lovely roomie who also brought along her super cute seven month old son Finn to the event, enjoying some Moules Frites before we attended a Drinks and Canape session with the rest of the team. Sadly, our trip was during the tragic events in Paris and we experienced a very humbling and emotional moment on the Saturday morning with our fellow French demonstrators.
Despite this and the tiring nature of it all it was a fabulous few days and I’m feeling invigorated and inspired to share Stampin’ Up with even more people, and I am already looking forward to the next Onstage event in Telford in April – if you fancy coming along to this, why not contact me to chat about joining Stampin’ Up! – you won’t regret it I promise!
Hasta luego / see you later
Louise
