Back again with my final Birthday card for February and this one was for a special little boy that was born just 2 hours later than Gracie. I met George and his mum Louise at the baby group we went to. Me and Louise became firm friends as we watched our little ones grow, and still try to keep in touch even though we’re back at work.
I made a card for George with that cute owl.
The design was totally
cased from a lovely demo who does some fab designs.
The Timeless Type Alphabet dies were used again to create the name and number in a collection of blue’s including Pacific Point, Bashful Blue and Baja Breeze. The grassy hill was from the Subtles Designer Paper stack and the flag was created with the Pennant builder punch. I actually used two separate stamps from Happiest Birthday wishes to create the today as I didn’t have a stamp with this on. That’s the great thing about markers you can colour the part of the stamp you want!
As well as a toy for George to play with, I decided to make a keepsake name frame for them. I used the Chipboard letters for the name which were daubed in Whisper White and then in the same collection of blue inks. The date of birth was made using the Timeless Type Alphabet Dies and is a great way to use up scraps of cardstock and designer paper.
Finished off with the whale from Fox & Friends in Pacific Point. I think they were pleased with them.
If you wanted to get your hands on the Timeless Type Alphabet Dies you could order before the end of March and get free Sale-a-bration goodies.
Hasta la próxima / until next time
