Hello and welcome to what I hope will become a regular feature on the blog …. Digital Domingo – that’s Digital Sunday in English, but as the Stampin’ Senorita I thought why not add a little spanish and of course with Stampin’ Up! we love a little alliteration!
Stampin’ Up have their very own digital design software called My Digital Studio or MDS for short. I often use it for some of the digital aspects of my Stampin’ Up! business, to create adverts and logos for my website, but really want to start showing you what you can do creatively with it.
Here is a recent project I created for a friend and their new addition to the family on MDS.
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- The design for the onesie was created on MDS using a mixture of brush stamp sets – Enjoy Every Moment and Baby Steps, and coloured using the in built Stampin’ Up colour palette. I then printed this onto Iron On Transfer paper and ironed it onto the onesie for a cute and simple personalised gift – hello Baby Peers!
- I created a perfectly sized box using my Simply Scored in Marina Mist cardstock. The box is tied together with the gorgeous Crushed Curry Chevron ribbon.
- The topper is a collection of die cuts from the Circles Collection and finished off with the fabulous onesie stamp from Something for Baby and simply die cut out with the Baby’s First Framelits. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners stamp set in Crushed Curry ink.
I can see me making lots more of these types of things with MDS, so simple to do and gives that personal touch.
You can download a FREE trial of MDS from my online store here – it comes loaded with a whole heap of content. For more information on MDS click here.
Don’t forget to check out the bundles too – both Something for Baby and Itty Bitty Banners come with matching framelits and you can save 15% when purchasing them together.
Hasta luego / see you later
