Hello. It’s Saturday and we have a family day planned … you never know might be the last one as a threesome! I’m back today with another punch art card.
The Hungry Caterpillar story is a popular tale for little bambinos and when I had a 2nd Birthday card to make for a special little girl, it all came together like this.
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- This is such a simple punch art card I can’t quite believe I never thought of it before! The Body is made up of lots of 1 3/8″ Circle Punches using a collection of greens from the various Designer Paper Stacks. The eyes and nose are all punched out with the Owl Builder punch. The antennae are cut from a 1 1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch.
- The sentiment is made from mixing up a couple of stamp sets, Memorable Moments and Remembering Your Birthday, using the marker and the Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the words.
- Finally, to add a little sparkle, I punched out a few stars from Glimmer Cardstock with the new Itty Bitty Accent punch pack … I can see me using this little punch set a lot!
- This type of card is great for using up scraps of DSP and cardstock … you know that pile you keep meaning to use, but never do!
Hope you like it? It went down well with the Birthday girl thankfully. I’ll be back soon with another punch art project, this time using the Woodgrain Stamp!
