I’m back today with another Digital Domingo post, and again have used MDS to personalise a card and create a hybrid project. In my neck of the woods this summer has all been about babies, so it’s another new baby card for the last of my friends to have a 2014 addition to the family.
STAMPIN’ DELIGHT TIPS & TRICKS
- I designed the topper in MDS by selecting the Labels Collection punch and sizing it so that it would coordinate with the Labels Collection framelits, for easy cutting out. It’s great to have software that works with my craft stash!
- I added the cute bear from the Little Additions Stamp Brush Set to finish off the personalised panel with all the important information.
- MDS uses all the Stampin’ Up colours, so it was easy to match the topper with the cardstock and Designer Series Papers to create this monochramtic look. The gatefold panels and the envelope are both made from Melon Mambo paper from the Brights Designer Series Paper stack.
- I finished off this hybrid project with a few Petite Petals for decoration
- Inside was decorated with this fab sentiment stamp from the Big News stamp set.
So now Baby Ella has joined the crew, that should be the last of my baby makes for a while. Here at the Casa de Craft, I am hoping we are settling into more of a routine, so fingers crossed I hope to blog a little more regularly.
Hasta luego / see you later
Louise
