Hello and welcome to the this month’s Stampin’ Creative blog hop, whether you regularly visit my blog or have popped along from one of the other Stampin’ Creative Crew, then welcome, come in and see what we have to share this month. The theme is Party Central and we have the lovely Joanne from Crafty Owl joining us to make the party even better.

Baby Shower Party

I opted for a Baby Shower party with the Animal Outing stamp set and created for both boy and girl. How cute are these animal stamps? A rhino, a kangaroo and there are more in the set too with a giraffe and a cute frog on a branch.

The main focal image of each animal is die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits, and given a jungle backdrop with the Leaf Punch. Each card features an embossed background in Whisper White, I used both Pinewood Planks and Layered Leaves for 2 different textures.

The cards were finished off with some coordinating ribbon to match the colour scheme … for the boys, some Gingham Night of Navy ribbon. For the girls some Powder Pink ruffle ribbon.

I teamed up the cards with Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Papers to create some cute sour cream containers. These would make perfect favours for a Baby Shower and with each container only needing a 6″ x 4″ piece of paper you could create 72 out of a whole pack of papers!
