Evening, just a quick post from me tonight as I have a complete mountain range of ironing to tackle, but I wanted to share a card I made for an order. One of my friends had seen this card I made for Grace and wanted me to make one for her Grandson who has just turned one, so I kept the same kind of design but updated the look.
I used the same stamp set which I think is perfect for kids cards – Fox and Friends. I used Tempting Turquoise for the main colours and kept it to the same primary colours which is perfect for little ones.
The owl makes an appearance, perched on a branch from the Bird Punch. The sentiment is printed on the computer and the number is die cut with the Timeless Type Alphabet set.
The middle section features another computer generated sentiment and a chain of monkeys stamped in Chocolate chip and carefully cut out with the super sharp Paper snips. Not sure how I managed with ordinary scissors before I got these.
The third page features lovely little Lenny’s name die cut out again and I created the sea in Pacific Point Designer Paper for the cute whale to swim in. The banner was created with the Pennant Parade set and matching punch.
I know his nan loved it, just hope Lenny liked it and his mum and dad.
Right oh, best get back to the ironing …. so I can craft tomorrow evening of course!
Hasta la próxima / until next time
