Pink has become a popular choice for christmas, as each year we see decorations in different colour combinations from the traditional red and green. Stampin’ Up!’s Whimsy Suite has a gorgeous set of papers full of pink deliciousness – they are so pretty you really don’t need to do much else. Come and see.

The first card shows off this Speciality Whimsy and Wonder papers by adding a simple layer onto a cardbase of Polished Pink.

The papers are so pretty you just can’t cover them up … so adding a Vellum layer for the sentiment lets them shine through.

TIP : If you stamp onto Vellum, make sure you put it to one side, to dry before you touch the ink, as it takes longer than on normal card stock. You can apply a little heat with the Heat Tool, but don’t overdo it.

The vellum is held in place with a little glue perfectly placed behind the fussy cut present.

Another version of Christmas in Pink

The next card features another one of the gorgeous papers and lots of pink baubles … I love this one!

Here I added border made from the other side of these speciality papers and topped it off with a stamped tree from the Whimsical Trees stamp set and matching dies.

These papers are so fabulous, they do all the work to make a gorgeous card.

They are a fabulous colour combination of Polished Pink, Blushing Bride, Mossy Meadow, Mint Macaron, Misty Moonlight and a finishing touch of iridescent.
