Today I have a card to share that is perfect for your man. It’s the perfect to showcase for the Stampin’ Creative blog hop on Masculine Makes and shows how you can create a gorgeous card with little stamping and layering up shapes and die cuts.

Making a Monochrome Male Card

This card uses different shades of grey (but not quite fifty!) to create layers and textures. It starts with a card base in Basic Grey, added a layer of Smoky Slate cardstock.

I then used the pretty floral Heart and Home Designer Series papers, which feature flowers on one side and gorgeous wood textures on the other – making it a great addition to your stash.

Here the wood grain design was added as a banner before topping with a rectangle of textured Basic Grey cardstock which was embossed with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder.

I finished it off with some die cut hearts from the Sweet Hearts Dies and a little “Luv U” from the Sweet Conversations stamp set – you can grab both of these items as a bundle and save 10% until the end of June.
